Photo Safari in Kenya
Since I was a little girl, I had dreamed of going on an African Safari, and on my 50th birthday that wish was granted. It is impossible to really describe the connection one feels with the animals and the local community, as it is so deep and soulful. Almost all of our time was spent on massive private reserves, with no other visitors to be seen. The animals went about their lives not giving our existence a second thought. The world felt so much bigger in Kenya and after our busy life in the big cities, it was comforting to feel so close to nature again even through a very long telephoto lens.
